01We've learned from experience now, when Hollywood announces your favorite manga/anime is going to be adapted to a live action film, you should be very afraid. The decision comes in a long line of different studio's attempts to find the next big silver screen genre. They refuse to realize that there is a reason why 'superhero' movies work in live adaptations but adapting a battle shounen to live action just doesn't.
Anyways, as predicted, fans have taken to the internet to express their terror. -
02The announcement included the fact that Masashi Kishimoto is involved in production on Lionsgate's adaptation. We're hoping that he plays a large role so that this film has the best chance it can of not being an abomination.
